Something I Love About Unschooling

There are many things I love about unschooling, but one of these I experienced today. I have really needed, for my emotional and physical well-being, a day to do some solitary pursuits today. And I was able to! Both children seemed to be in sync with me, because we all sort of spent time on our own things, without a whole lot of interactions. I have a cleaner house, dinner prepped early, and a heart at peace. If I had had a curriculum today I would have either felt stressed by ignoring my body's needs or guilty for ditching the curriculum.

I love going with the flow of each day!

Yea! Good for all of you - sometimes we just need that time to focus inward while working on the things that make life a little smoother (like a cleaner home, dinner made in less than a rush, etc.) =)

So true Marie! There is so much free time in homeschooling/unschooling, for everyone - even mom.

Glad to hear you had a great day. Your kids are super lucky to have such a great mom!
