Care For Dying Chinese Orphans

I was inspired this morning by the story of Shannon Walsh. A 1998 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, she has been working in China among orphans for most of her years since leaving here. And recently she has opened a home specifically for dying orphans, babies with hydrocephalus or cancer or heart defects, babies who would otherwise be left to die without care.

My heart is awed by this work of God's grace. It is a beautiful testimony to the dignity of the human person. Unfortunately the article from Franciscan Way is not yet available on line, but you can visit the Loving Hearts Home at this link.
